We do our best to keep nature where nature belongs, but there are times when good old mother nature has a different plan for us!
We can handle the day to day things in stride, like the occasional ant or spider, using simple over the counter measures, but once in a while some aggressive little pest gets past our defense systems, and tries to invade our space. We have no trouble with these furry little creatures living all around us, but we have no place for them inside our home.

You see my father in law, god rest his gentle soul, was amazing with a 12 gauge shotgun, shooting trap and skeet at the expert level, in fact he was an Olympic alternate for 1976 trap and skeet team. He could blast some of these critters into dust in just one shot! Those gruesome days of shooting at things are well behind us now. These days we try to be as earth friendly as we possibly can in our efforts to draw a line in the grass between their habitat and ours! I have recently learned that many people are devising better deterrent tactics to be used when fending off these little creatures. Most of these are much more earth friendly than liquid poisons, and harmful sprays. Searching the internet yields a plethora of good advice on natural items which irritate the pests to the point they will not want to invade your space.
