Main Street Shopping: Vancouver’s Main Street is hot and trendy

Showcases Canadian designers and indie design labels. They’re own line is designed and manufactured in-house. The trademark t-shirts are printed with political images and have become a Main Street staple.

Burcu’s Angel’s- 2535 Main Street

This costume shop is filled with treasures galore. Pieces that you’d never find anywhere else are the norm here and the shop is filled to the brim with wonderful and magical treats.

Arkclothing- 2549 Main Street

Very trendy and hip clothing can be found at this newish hotspot. From Western shirts, printed bags, plain t-shirts, ultra cool jackets, hip skirts, hot jeans and wacky accessories, you’re bound to find something fashionable.

A tiny boutique carrying very stylish clothing. Some great deals are to be had from their box at the front, as well as great sales. The locally designed jewellery they sell is amazing.

This independent Canadian label makes dresses that are both practical and stylish. They’re known for their body conscious fit and well made designs. The signature dress can be worn 8 different ways, depending on the occasion.

Carrying some of the hottest looks by over 50 young Canadian designers, this start up company has lifted off. Accessories include Sushi pillows, Ya-Ya clutch bags, Whore to the Core jewellery, and Devil May Wear basics.

Exceptional collection of clothing for hipsters. Mostly Canadian designers, there are also independent as well as established lines carried. The accessories are fabulous and include reworked vintage pieces and original creations.

One of the frilliest and feminine shops on the block, they get 2-3 new shipments a week. From beautiful clothing that makes you feel like a woman to delicate and funky accessories, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped out of the modern city and onto a movie set.

The largest consignment store on Main Street, Front & Co offers second hand clothing for both women and men, footwear, purses and many accessories and collectibles. If you’re a fashionista yourself, bring in your tired clothing to sell on consignment.
